Shantih has practiced Pilates for over 19 years. A major focus of her teaching is that knowledge is power. The more we know about our body, as well as our expansion of awareness into its connection to the mind and spirit, the more we may make even the smallest of changes in our daily practices create a greater sense of health and wellbeing.
Trained through some of the top instructors in the Pilates world, her background incorporates an extensive knowledge of anatomy and physiology, as well as studies in, and a deep connection to, the subtler energies of our beings, allowing for a truly wholistic approach to every individual.
After 13 years of teaching and specializing in the healing power of movement and the mind/body connection Shantih is now studying towards a Doctoral in Physical Therapy.
